The Policy Center for the New South and the French Institute for International Relations (Ifri) are organizing the Ifri-PCNS Roundtables under the theme Disentangling Risks and Opportunities in International Politics. This conference is taking place in the context of the Ifri-PCNS partnership. 

Pr. Bouchra Rahmouni, Director of Research, Partnerships & Events will take part in a high level Design Thinking workshop aimed at "Strengthening Capacity Development Effectiveness for Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development in Africa". This workshop is organized by the African Development Bank in partnership with the African Capacity Building Foundation and will take place 27 – 29 June 2019, Abidjan, COTE D’IVOIRE.

The idea of a united Africa stems from the desire to take control of the economic, political and strategic destiny of African nations. The Organization of African Unity and then the African Union were created as a process of ownership of the continent's challenges, in a context of insecurity and governance crises. Faced with these internal challenges, and given the global geostrategic changes, Africans have no alternative but to take charge of their destiny so as to play a prominent role in the world of tomorrow.

The Policy Center for the New South is participating to EuroMeSCo Annual Conference 2019, through the speaking role of Abdelhak Bassou in the conference agenda held under the theme “Civil Society and Social Movements in the Euro-Mediterranean Region”. In 2018, the PCNS was partner to this annual conference which was held in Rabat under the theme “Changing Euro-Mediterranean Lenses”.
