Design Thinking Workshop on Strengthening Capacity Development Effectiveness for Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development in Africa
Pr. Bouchra Rahmouni, Director of Research, Partnerships & Events will take part in a high level Design Thinking workshop aimed at "Strengthening Capacity Development Effectiveness for Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development in Africa". This workshop is organized by the African Development Bank in partnership with the African Capacity Building Foundation and will take place 27 – 29 June 2019, Abidjan, COTE D’IVOIRE.
Pr. Bouchra Rahmouni has been invited to address the issue of strengthening regional cooperation in research and development in Africa in the panel "Experiences on Enhancing CD Effectiveness for Inclusive Growth & Sustainable Development". The conversation will take place alongside Jean-Michel Happi, Islamic Development Bank Group, Eva Thorne, Director of Policy and Innovations, Tony Blair Institute, UK, and Mamadou Biteye, Vice President, Social Impact for Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, VISA.
Each panelist will address the following questions:
- What has worked and what has not worked in your experience? (Models, practices, tools and systems)
- What were the pre-conditions that made it work or not work? (success and failure factors).
- What are the key lessons learnt?
- Recommendations, new designs, tools and models to accelerate Capacity Development effectiveness in Africa.
