Multilingual incubator of ideas, keen to make Southern voices heard, the Policy Center for the New South is also an incubator of young talents. Created in 2014 in Rabat, the think tank quickly established itself among the major applied research institutions in geopolitics, economics and social sciences in Morocco, Africa and the global South. This feat is all the more remarkable since the average age of its staff is around 30 years old.
The think tank’s activities have grown steadily in recent years, as has the workforce. The staff comprises about 80 employees, with a gender parity that represents the hallmark of the Policy Center. These teams are responsible for organizing events, developing partnerships, promoting research and editing. In addition, more than 30 permanent researchers in international relations and economics produce research throughout the year.
