Professor Haddad received his B.A. in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 1993 and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urban-Champaign in 1997. In 1998 he held a post-doctoral position at the University of Oxford. He has served as the president of the Brazilian Regional Science Association (2008-2010), and as the first president of the Regional Science Association of the Americas (2008-2010). He was the Director of Research of the Institute of Economic Research Foundation – FIPE – from 2005 to 2013.
Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) where she manages strategic engagement with the private sector in humanitarian assistance and disaster response activities. Prior to joining OFDA, Devorah worked as a Policy Advisor to the USAID Administrator. Previously, Devorah worked with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to bring a human-centered design approach to refugee camp design. She also worked at the Brookings Institution, where she provided research and analysis on the impacts of the changing global order on international organizations.
Dr Moshi has a Ph.D on ICT Business and Economic Policy at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. He was awarded the best policy brief award at the Communications Policy Research South (CPRsouth) Conference in 2016. He is on the Rector’s list at the United Nations University, Tokyo. As well, he has authored and co-authored nine technical reports and academic papers. His areas of interest include but not limited to financial inclusion, ICT investments, youth empowerment, and ICT access and usage.

She has worked with private companies in their public-private partnerships, with international institutions, and on government projects. Claire has also worked extensively with international donor institutions (EU, World Bank, GIZ) supporting the development strategies of partner countries such as Benin, Ukraine, and Niger. Her strong experience of working in Africa has included project managing the feasibility study of the construction and rehabilitation of a 3,000 km railway loop in West Africa.
Prior to that, he studies at the Manhattan Institute of Management in New York, and obtained an MBA in General Management in 2016. In 2014, he worked as a Social Media Associate Manager at the United Nations Department of Puyblic Information in New York, and was in charge of promoting global awareness and partnering with diverse audiences in the MENA region. From 2010 to 2014, he worked as a Senior SAP Financial Supply Chain Management Consultant at Capgemini in Casablanca.
She is also a volunteer Program manager and founding member of Rwanda Green Initiative that raises awareness on climate change and environment protection in Rwanda. Marie Louise holds a University degree ( 4 years) in Environmental Chemistry from the College of science and Technology of the University of Rwanda. After some years of professional life, she is interested in pursuing her passion for green solutions and is looking for a practice-based Master’s Program in the area of renewable energy and green economy.
She published Agricultural Price Policy: A Practitioner’s Guide to Partial Equilibrium Analysis (Cornell Univ. Press); and Success in Agricultural Transformation: What It Means and What Makes It Happen (Cambridge Univ. Press). She has taught at the Renmin University in Beijing, China; at the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, and the World Bank. She has a B.A. Phil/Econ and M.SC Econ degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and M.Sc. (Asian Studies) and Ph. D Econ from Harvard University.
He wrote the mission report on the food and nutrition security situation in the 2015 for the government in Kolda (South Senegal). Malao have a wide experience in field research and of supporting community in area of health, nutrition and networking. He wrote a number of reports for the government. Malao is fluent in French; English and Wolof.
