Roger is a 2016 graduate of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and holds a Masters Degree in Advanced International Studies, as well as a 2013 Foreign policy certificate from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
She is also Advisory Board Member for Westminster Center for Research and Strategy, UK, London. In addition Dr Aziza Geleta have served as a Co-Chair of the Global Environment Outlook - GEO-6: Summary for Policymakers.
She completed her Ph.D. in Peace and Security Studies from Addis Ababa University, Institute of Peace and Security Studies in 2017.
Prior to working for Cancer Research UK, she was a strategy consultant at LEK Consulting, advising pharmaceutical and biotech companies. She previously worked as Chief Operating Officer at Healx, a start-up doing drug repurposing for rare diseases, and as an intern at the Mental Health department of the World Health Organization. She completed her PhD in Stem Cell Biology at Cambridge University in 2015.
Previously, Iskander has served as a negotiator and project manager for the Kingdom of Morocco on the Presidency of COP22, as well as other climate-related roles for various organizations. He has also been involved in mobilizing grassroots movements to address climate change across different countries. Iskander holds degrees from Yale University and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Prior to this, he was a policy analyst at the Belgian Ministry of Economic Affairs where he conducted research on SME Policy and was a member of the expert group “Policy-relevant research on SMEs and entrepreneurship” of the European Commission. He also has experience working with the Belgian Foreign Office and Credendo. Besides, he is a member of the Friday Group, a Belgian policy think tank for young professionals financed by the King Baudouin Foundation.
Her previous professional experiences include developing refugee housing and integration strategies for arrival cities around the world, supporting humanitarian coordination through her work with the UN Interagency Standing Committee in Geneva, and leveraging her skills in research and design to support the advancement of peace, justice, and sustainable development with various non-profit organizations.
Prior to this, she worked in the heritage sector of the Roberto Marinho Foundation and contributed to the reconstruction of the Portuguese Language Museum in São Paulo. As an intern, she acquired experience in teaching history and public policy analysis. Teresa holds an undergraduate degree in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and a graduate degree in Museology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She is a historian specialized in contemporary Latin America, memory, heritage and public history.
Previously, Teresa worked as a Field Organizer for Stacey Abrams’ Georgia gubernatorial campaign, and worked for three years at Capital One, where she was part of a development program for future leaders in HR. Teresa’s prior work includes youth employment in Hyderabad, India, therapeutic arts for girls in Cusco, Peru, civilian personnel policy at the Department of Defense, and disability policy for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. Teresa is a 2014 Truman Scholar and a 2015 graduate of Cornell University with a B.S.
