Alan Kasujja

Alan is also a radio documentary maker who’s reported for the BBC from close to 20 countries. Alan has worked in print media, radio and has also been a TV host since he began his career the late 90s. As a conference speaker/moderator, he has chaired high level discussions in Africa, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. He is interested in global geopolitics, political economy and is currently researching the impact of China’s growing presence in Africa.

Ade Mabogunje

This endeavor focused on the role of emotion, identity, and narratives in the design of sustainable ventures for achieving shared global prosperity. Ade studies design teams empirically with a view towards nucleating innovation ecosystems and developing performance metrics for them. These metrics are helping advance our understanding of innovation as well as help in accelerating the capital formation process. Along these lines, Ade has worked in Ahmedabad, India, Abeokuta, Nigeria and in the Silicon Valley, California.

Abdoullah COULIBALY

He launched in 1998 in partnership with Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) the Executive MBA Program at the Institut des Hautes Études en Management (IHEM) in Mali. He created in 1996 the consulting firm International Business Network (IBN), having passed an MBA in Geneva in 1992 and joined DACS, a consulting firm in Paris. Trained as an engineer in France, he worked from 1981 in Mali at Industrie textile du Mali (Itema) and left for Rwanda in 1985 to launch the UN Voluntary program.

Abdeta Dribssa Beyene

Prior to his current post, he served the Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Director General for African Affairs until 2012, Head of the Conflict Early Warning and Response Unit (2009-10), Chief of the Cabinet (2006-08), Special Envoy to Somalia (2008-09), and Head of the Ethiopian Trade office in Hargeisa, Republic of Somaliland (2002-06), as well as officer for Somalia and Ethiopia’s neighboring states.

Sarala Morusupalli

She also has experience in law, election security and politics, and has worked on numerous political campaigns in the U.S, including the Hillary for America presidential campaign. In 2017, she was elected as Legal Counsel for the Democratic Party Abroad (Democrats Abroad India) and in 2018, she served as Director of the Minnesota Election Protection Program for the Democratic Party (MN-DFL). Her work at present focuses on ensuring voter rights and American interests are protected at home and abroad, and on advancing the security of the 2020 U.S. elections.

Denica Yotova

She is involved in the strategic communication and annual planning of the organization and is currently working on a gap analysis on the relations between Europe and Africa. Previously, she completed a Schuman traineeship at the European Parliament and served as an Organizational Leader and Executive Board member of the Association of the Bulgarian Leaders and Entrepreneurs. She holds an MA in International Relations and European Studies from Centre International de Formation Européenne - France, and a BA in Cultural Studies from Sofia University.

Kheston Walkins

He is the Chief NeuroInnovator at Allegori which designs innovations in education, art, mental health and industry using neuroscience and psychology. He believes strongly that the mind is an important resource to champion and doing so with radically improve our quality of life and performance in our nations.

Ronald van den Heuvel MSc

Simultaneously he switched his civil profession from high-school teacher social studies to a political advisor within the Dutch Ministry of Defense. Recently Ronald was voluntarily deployed to Afghanistan as part of NATO, in the position of military advisor to the Afghan Ministry of Interior.

Edna Liliana Valencia Murillo

She also directs and presents the program “Africa 7 Days”, the only news show in Spanish 100% dedicated to the African continent. She was the first news anchor in Latin America to present news with natural afro hair. She is also a leader of the natural hair movement in Colombia and other countries in the region. Influencer and poet.

Adaku Ufere

Her previous professional experience includes Head of the Energy Practice of Centurion Law Group in Equatorial Guinea, and with General Electric as Legal Counsel GE Oil & Gas in Nigeria. She’s a globally respected conference speaker/panelist, and a prolific writer with published articles in energy, gender and project finance. Adaku is a Mandela Washington Fellow, a Power Africa, Young Woman in African Power and an Obama Foundation Leader Africa.
