Dr. Tsakok holds a Ph.D. in Economics. She has worked on development issues for over twenty-five years, first as World Bank staff and since retirement as a consultant. She has specialized in policy analysis, program and project formulation and evaluation, research and training activities in agriculture, agro-business, rural development, and poverty reduction. She has worked in most regions of the developing world: Africa, Asia - South, Southeast and East, North Africa and the Middle East and Latin America. As World Bank staff and consultant, she has worked on agricultural development. She has taught at the World Bank, Renmin University of China, SIPA (Columbia University) and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard.
