On the regional level, the OCP Policy Center is the 9th best think tank of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), 4 ranks higher than the previous year, and the 1st one in Maghreb and Morocco. On the global level, it is ranked 15th for the best conference with the « Atlantic Dialogues », an annual meeting that has become a must. The OCP Policy Center stands in the Top 15 of this category along the International Institute for Strategic Studies Shangri-La Dialogue (Singapore), the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI, Italy), the Institut français des relations internationales (IFRI, France), the Munich Security Conference (Germany), the Brookings Institution (USA), the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI, Japan), the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (Imemo Ras, Russia), Chatham House (United Kingdom), Boao Forum (China), the Economic Research Institute (Kazakhstan), the Observer Research Foundation (ORF, India), the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF, USA), the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP, USA) and the Atlantic Council (USA).

It is moreover the 48th best think tank focused on energy and the 58th for its collaboration and exchanges with other institutes – such as the Italian Institute for International Studies (ISPI, Italy), the Institut Français des Relations Internationales (IFRI, Paris), the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF, USA), the Institut Montaigne (France), the Institut Bruegel (Belgique), the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI, United Kingdom), the Brazilian Centre for International Relations (CEBRI, Brazil), the Ethiopian Development Research Institute (EDRI, Ethiopie),  the Observer Research Foundation (ORF, India) and the Africa Economic Development Policy Initiative (AEDPI, Nigeria).

These results show an international recognition of the work done by the OCP Policy Center, launched in 2014 in Rabat, with a team of 39 fellow researchers and 25 permanent staff, in order to promote an analysis, from the South, of the current main economic and geostrategic issues. The Global Go-To Think Tanks 2017 also reflects the quality of our network of researchers and experts, engaged in our different programs to work on a prospective view, with more than 200 publications yearly.
