David is also the African Regional Coordinator for Citizens Climate Lobby. David volunteers for several environmental organizations some of which include UNDP GEF Small Grant program, 350 Africa, African Green Movement just to mention but a few. David belongs to several professional bodies, notable among them are:
1. Member: African Climate Leaders.
2. Member: Nigerian Conservation Foundation.
3. Member: European Energy Commission
4. Senior Professional Member: Institute of Information Management Africa.
David is OCP Policy Center’s Africa Visionary Leaders recipient 2017 and this December received an Award ‘Environmental Friendly and Peace Ambassador’ by West African Youth Initiative for Peace Building and Good Leadership. David is the Founder and Executive Director of Global Initiative for Food Security and Ecosystem Preservation- GIFSEP Currently working with IFAD CASP and UNDP-SGP mobilizing communities to respond to a changing climate through adaptation and mitigation.

Born in 1981 in Benue State Nigeria, David holds a first degree in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and water management option) and a post graduate certificate in Renewable Energy from TERI University New Delhi India. David is a Climate Reality Leader, Trained by the former US Vice President Mr. Algore under the Climate Reality Project. He is now a mentor with the Climate Reality Project and the West African Coordinator for the African Climate Reality Project. David is also the African Regional Coordinator for Citizens Climate Lobby.
