Jorge Quiroga Ramirez

 Former Minister of Finance (1992-97) and Undersecretary of Public Investment and International Cooperation within the Ministry of Planning (1989-92), he served as Vice President in the government of General Hugo Banzer (1997-2001) and after his death he assumed the Presidency of Bolivia (2001-2002). In 2005 he was a candidate for the presidential election, as well as in 2014, invited by the Christian Democratic Party (PDC).
Quiroga is an industrial engineer graduated from Texas A&M University, with a Master in Business Administration from St. Edward's University in Austin (Texas). This training allowed him to develop an important experience in private and state positions in Bolivia.
