Rim berahab, Economist at the Policy Center for the New South, will be speaking at the Global Gas workshop under the theme “Role of Natural Gas in MENA in a Deeply Decarbonized World”, organized by King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) and in partnership with Energy Futures Initiative (EFI). The session will take place on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021 starting 5pm Riyadh time (UTC+3)/ 3pm Rabat time (UTC+1).

In this context, the workshops will examine economic trends and other regional imperatives in order to identify key drivers of the future role of natural gas in deeply decarbonized energy systems.
