The Geopolitical Side of Climate Change: Resource Scarcity and Conflicts
5th edition of Rome Med Dialogues
Karim El Aynaoui is panelist at a session organized by Policy Center for the New South and ISPI under the theme “The Geopolitical Side of Climate Change: Resource Scarcity and Conflicts” at the 5th edition of the Rome Med Dialogues.
The panel aims to depict a clearer picture of the effects of climate change on the region’s political, demographic, and economic development and put forward a series of policy recommendations which should inform governments’ and relevant stakeholders’ – both within the private and public sectors – future strategies. Questions regarding policy approaches for climate change mitigation and north-south cooperation will be addressed.
This event is taking place at the Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel, Rome, Italy.
