Ruben is both statistician and economist by training. This dual combination which he has been determined to enhance through his working experience has imparted him with important skills. Those span quantitative and qualitative research methods, strategic planning, public policies, leadership, development economics, foresight analysis, monetary policy, etc.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in projects related to macro-econometric modeling, country strategic planning, and sectors’ competitiveness-plans. He also contributed to the implementation of “delivery units” for the coordination of countries’ strategic plans, the design of monitoring & evaluation systems, operational and budgetary planning, public policies impact evaluation, financial planning for development programs and projects. A part from that Ruben has been active in enhancing statistical literacy in Côte d’Ivoire as the country coordinator of the International Statistical Literacy Program for Côte d’Ivoire.
