Molly C. Campbell

She spent more than half of her tenure at the Port of Los Angeles, where she first served as the CFO and later Deputy Executive Director responsible for the day-to-day administration at the nation’s busiest port complex. During her three years overseeing the Port of New York and New Jersey – the largest port on the East coast and the third largest US port, She oversaw record cargo volumes and achieved major milestones, such as the arrival of the largest neo-Panamax container ship to call on the East Coast following the completions of the 50-foot channel deepening program and the Bayonne Bridge Navigational Clearance Project. She holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

She is currently a 2019 Harvard University Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI) Fellow, to enhance the skills of already-accomplished leaders for significant impact on pressing social problems. She joined the Port Authority in 2015 following a nearly 28-year career with the City of Los Angeles in various roles (Planning, Transportation, Recreation and Parks, and the creation of the first department of Environmental Affairs for the City).
