Nele Wissmann

Nele Wissmann is research fellow at the French Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, a German political foundation. She is also research associate at the French Institute of International Relations.

Her main axes of research are migration and integration in European countries, especially in France and Germany, commemorative culture and transitional justice. Nele is member of the Young Transatlantic Network of future leaders of the German Marshall Fund and of the Alumni Association of the French-German Future Dialog.

Hallelujah Lulie Wondimu

Hallelujah Lulie Wondimu is a regional security researcher interested in democratization, security, nationalism and social movements in the Horn of Africa, and the affairs of the African Union.

Currently, Hallelujah Lulie Wondimu is a Program Director at Amani Africa; an independent policy research think tank based in Addis Ababa. He is a graduate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) specializing on nationalism and democratization. Prior to that, he worked as a researcher at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) for seven years, and as a research consultant for the international Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) for a year. Hallelujah has published on democratization in Africa, the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA), state fragility and regional integration in the Horn of Africa.

He made numerous high-level policy briefings and presentations to political and public leaders, and decision making bodies of the African Union. His expertise was used by The Economist, The New York Times, The Washington Post, the BBC, Al-Jazeera, CNN, The Guardian, Reuters and The Financial Times. Hallelujah is member of the Rotary Club of Addis Ababa Arada, and initiated, took part and led numerous voluntary community service, activism and advocacy initiatives. He uses his twitter page to initiate conversations.

Seleman Yusuph Kitenge

Programme Officer, United Nations Association of Tanzania, Tanzania

Seleman Yusuph Kitenge is a veteran of a decade of campaigning on youth development, peace and security. With the support of the European Commission (EC), Seleman is part of the  European Commission - One Young World Peace Ambassador programme which promotes and accelerates young leaders in preventing and countering violent extremism, peace-building efforts and conflict resolution.

He was awarded an Honorary Diploma of New Leaders for Tomorrow by the Crans Montana Forum in Vienna, Austria (June 2016), On Spot Best Guest of the Year Award by West Coast Radio in The Gambia (September 2016), the First Global Youth Policies Forum Medal in the Republic of Azerbaijan (October 2014) and Special Recognition Award by the Pan African Humanitarian Awards Board in Tanzania (November 2017). 

He and his fellow alumni of YALI East Africa Chapter of Tanzania won Alumni Eagle Award in September 2016. He has been certified by the Commonwealth Secretariat (United Kingdom) as a Trainer of Trainers on issues around Hate Speech, Human Rights and Countering Violent Extremism. He has also been certified by the United Nations in Tanzania as a Champion of all Sustainable Development Goals in 2016. He has recently received a Medal from the government of Republic of Rwanda for being part of Youth Connekt Africa Innovation Race. 

Currently, he is working as an Administrator and Spokesperson at the Honorary Consulate of Sierra Leone in Dar es salaam. He is also a certified African Union Youth Volunteer. Previously, he worked as a Project Officer with the United Nations Association of Tanzania. Moreover, he is the Co-Founder of the African Network of Youth Policy Experts which is an African based regional think tank that federates youth policies expertise and researches across the continent.

EVOCRAFT was selected among the Top 10 Startups of the year 2018 in the Startup Istanbul Event. Also, he won several prizes in the fields of business and entrepreneurship, which are: The 1st prize in Tunisia Entrepreneurship, the 1st prize in 48H Countdown Hackathon, the 1st prize in SAMSUNG Fast Track and I am a winner in Souk Attanmia Programme. Additionally, his work has been honored by multiple international organizations such as the UNDP, ADP, RMEI, and GrabCA.

Ali Belhaj Zahi graduated from the National Engineering School of Sousse with a Professional Master’s Degree in Industrial and manufacturing Engineering.

Carolina Zuheill Candelario Rosales

CEO & Founder, GUIMEDIC A.C, Mexico

Carolina Zuheill Rosales is a family medical doctor and the founder and CEO of Guimedic Medical Association for the promotion of health as human right in Mexico, a non-profit that brings medically trained volunteers to the most remote and impoverished communities of Mexico.

A public health physician by training, she is the autor of the book How to Prevent Zika with Mayan Medicine (2016), which examines the relationship between homeopathic medicine versus alopata. She is extremely passionate about healthcare in Mexico and works with various foundations, charities and governments to improve standards of healthcare.

Between 2014 and 2016, she worked in the federal government in the area of crime prevention and citizen participation, creating public policies around the health of young people. She is a national speaker who has received multiple awards and nominations. These include the Here For Good Award, the national prize of voluntary and solidary action, the UVM award for social development and the recognition Irene Robledo Garcia for the defense of the human rights of indigenous women. In addition, she serves on the state youth council of the Jalisco Youth Institute, where she has presented to parliament various initiatives focused on the health of vulnerable people.
