Dr. Karim El Aynaoui, President at the Policy Center for the New South will be speaking at the Think Tank 7 Summit (T7). 

Within the framework of the French G7 Presidency, the French Institute for International Relations (Ifri) is leading the outreach group for Think Tanks (T7) in 2019. The T7 event will gather think tanks from G7 countries, and for the first time, will also include African Think Tanks from Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal and Morocco . Dr. Karim El Aynaoui will be representing the Policy Center for the New South in these discussions, as President of an Afrian think Tank and will be speaking on the session about Development. The outcome of the meeting will be translated into a short recommendation paper for the G7 Presidency.

The topics discussed during this event, and which are part of this year’s G7 core priorities are the following:
1.    International Trade 
2.    Development 
3.    Multilateralism and Defense of Democracy
